Job Description

Role Description:
Our client is looking for an enthusiastic individual to join our Fiduciaries Department. As well as training towards an accountancy qualification, you will provide administration assistance and support to the Administration and Accounts Department.

Role Responsibilities:
– Assessing and processing year end accounting adjustments
– Review and compilation of annual accounting records
– Preparation of annual financial statements for client companies and trusts
– IOM tax return preparation
– UK corporation and trust tax return preparation
– Assisting with accounting and tax department control functions
– Client portfolio review and assessment for tax exposure
– Preparing UK ATED returns

Skills & Experience Required:
– Preferably good A Levels or equivalent but are open to at least 5 GCSEs or equivalent at grade B or above
– Microsoft Office knowledge
– Work experience
– Public interaction
– Attention to detail
– Problem solving
– Excellent communication skills
– Able to work on their own initiative
– Able to work under pressure and to strict deadlines

External and internal training will be provided, with the prospect to gain ACCA or ACA qualification
