Role Description:
Our client is currently recruiting for a Test Team Manager on either a 12-month fixed term contract or a Permanent basis.
The successful candidate will be overseeing a team of test analysts to organise and prioritise their workloads as they engage with the Developers and Business Analysts to plan, document and execute robust testing in order to enhance the delivery of online and back office applications to meet our strategic business objectives.

Role Responsibilities:
– Test resource planning
– Effective reporting which is timely and concise
– Meeting project deadlines
– Management and conduct of personnel within the team
– Co-ordination of testing activities and the effective management of the test networks
– To manage and develop an effective framework for the testing of applications
– Motivation and development of staff

Skills & Experience Required:
– A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a testing role
– Knowledge of the Financial Services data
– Basic Line Manager experience
– Perform effective and comprehensive testing of software
– Experience in planning, coordination, and control of various test activities
– Have a comprehensive understanding of the project lifecycle with particular emphasis on testing activities
– Be experienced in the specification, design and production of testing documentation
– Strong communication skills, both verbally and written, to a wide range of audiences
