Job Description

The purpose of this role is to provide and implement a robust control environment to ensure the Company receives the rebates that it is owed from both its Unit Linked mirror fund range, as well as its direct holdings. This will ensure the Company receives the expected income towards overall revenue.

Duties and Responsibilities include:
– Daily operational processes over rebate activities to be delivered accurately and quickly, to ensure the control process are fully up to date,
– Quick and effective resolution to any missing rebates,
– Effective telephone manner to explain issues to fund managers and to ensure the quickest possible resolution to missing rebates,
– Emails to be responded to accurately and quickly,
– New risks to be highlighted in a timely manner to Line Manager,
– Policies and procedures are clear and are followed with 100% compliance,
– Procedures reviewed at least annually,
– Support team audit actions relating to internal/external audit,
– Monthly MI reporting by the Fund Services team is timely and accurate,
– Deliver cross training and knowledge sharing,
– Quality of instructions given and feedback,
– Supports teams, providing supportive and helpful leadership, ensuring training requirements completed

Skills and Experience required:

Essential
– Educated to GCSE or equivalent
– Microsoft office skills, high level of attention to detail and problem solving skills, good inter personal skills, ability to work under pressure and regulatory deadlines,
– Knowledge of Life Assurance systems and fund ranges

Desirable
– A level, degree, investment management or administration qualification
– Investment Management Certificate

Experience
– Technical knowledge and understanding of all areas of fund ranges and asset types,
– Knowledge and understanding of internal systems and processes,
– Understanding of the risks faced within an investment environment,
– Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex issues,
– Understanding the needs of end customers,
– Flexible to changing requirements,
– Highly numerate and analytical with a developed capability to interpret.
