Job Description

Role Description:
Reporting to the Banking and Treasury Manager, this position is primarily responsible for the processing of all company client, broker and supplier payments and receipts in a timely and accurate manner.

Role Responsibilities:
– Timely and accurate processing of all outward payments to clients, brokers and external suppliers
– Checking of Internal Authorisation of documents
– Investigating and answering of all payment related queries from internal departments and external banking partners
– Daily input of exchange rates to various banking systems
– Recording and banking of cheques (this will involve driving Company Car to the bank)
– Assisting the Bank reconciliations team by ensuring that correct information is recorded and resolution of any items arising on the bank reconciliations
– Accurate journaling of payments on a daily basis
– Filing/Maintaining company records into appropriate files

Skills & Experience Required:
– Two years payment processing experience with knowledge of banking operations
– A good working knowledge of Excel and Word
– Demonstrate high levels of accuracy especially when inputting data
– Ability to cope under pressure whilst working to tight deadlines and varying volumes of transaction and queries to process
– Ability to organise own work to meet these deadlines
– Flexible and adaptable attitude to associated tasks in the team
– Team player
– Must hold a full, clean IOM Driving License.
