Job Description

The purpose of this role will be responsibility for marketing matters for the company including advertising press, social media and managing relationships with influential groups associated with the firm’s marketing activities.

Duties & Responsibilities Include:
– Deputise on behalf of the Marketing Consultant when needed
– Liaise with the Marketing Consultant on editorial pieces
– Manage the marketing job boat and marketing tickets
– Coordinate the progression of materials and content through the firm’s approval process;
– Manage the production and monthly inventory of merchandise including clothing, stationary (including business cards), branded items, and distribution of email marketing campaigns through MailChimp
– Manage the production of marketing materials including brochures and banners
– Develop and maintain relationships with press, external designers, advertisers and printers
– Research and recommend sponsorship opportunities
– Manage and co-ordinate events and shows
– Maintain company websites and generate performance/statistics reports including Google analytics
– Identifying PR and Social media opportunities and action requests from Partners and Directors
– Manage digital marketing, social media including sourcing and organising original and curated content using a social media plan
– Manage production of internal forms and proposals
– Provide marketing induction of new staff members
– Maximise use and benefits of XRM (customer relationship management)
– Monitor customer satisfaction process for marketing, HR, IT and compliance as required by ISO 9001
– Create, implement and evaluate marketing campaigns
– Implement and police adherence to company visual identity guidelines
– Manage internal marketing and communications
– Organise annual client and stakeholder communications including diaries, electronic and/or hard copy Christmas cards
– Produce competitor analysis reports including maintenance and update of the competitor spreadsheet
– Generate monthly reports from Google analytics
– Take photographs including PR photographs and staff profiles
– Manage/maintain list of products and services
– Manage the ISO 9001 Marketing procedures.

Additional responsibilities will include:
– Being aware of general developments in the industries in which the firm operates
– Understand the firm’s policies and procedures and adhere to them in daily working practice
– Be working towards or considering a qualification in marketing
– Assisting with the delivery of approved strategies.

Skills & Experience required:
– At least 3 years’ experience within the marketing industry
– A good understanding of marketing and its function
– Faultless attention to detail with excellent proof-reading skills
– Working knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2015 or similar
– Ability to communicate effectively
– Have project management, organisational and/or time management skills
– Expert at Word, Excel and Powerpoint
– Proficient user of InDesign and Photoshop
– Proficient in marketing via social media including reporting and optimisation
– Proficient with WordPress and
– Basic understanding of HTML and CSS coding
