Role Description:
As the Head of Global Solutions you will take responsibility for the delivery of our Internationally focused Global Solutions agenda – owning our goals in this vital and growth orientated business unit. Reporting in to the Senior Leadership Team, you will help to craft the Business Units’ aspirations, develop strategic plans and take accountability for the efficient delivery of our proposition.

Role Responsibilities:
– Take overall responsibility for Revenue and EBITDA for the Business Unit
– Provide detailed and accurate forecasting;
– Manage customer expectations and contribute to a high level of customer satisfaction;
– Use data related to customer and prospect interactions to inform activity and play into our strategic aims;
– Map the career pathway of direct reports, with tactical objectives and career / personal development across both deliverables and behaviours;
– Develop direct reports into future successors to own and other roles within the company;
– Determine portfolio mix and assign accounts for team members, agreeing targets and reviewing success against key metrics;
– To work collaboratively with colleagues to develop and introduce new solutions, exploiting existing demand or creating an awareness of need;
– Ensure all accounts are well developed and strategically aligned through well embedded account management practices and integrated performance management practices;
– Lending expertise and resource to support the activities of colleagues and the wider group priorities / projects;
– Contribute positively to industry discussions and developments, demonstrating expertise to the Marketplace;
– Continuous improvement of our processes, incorporating best practice

Skills & Experience Required:
– Qualifications in Telecommunications, Engineering, Commerce or a related field
– Training within Sales Management and Sales Methodologies will be advantageous
– Experience at a senior level within the International Telecommunications industry
– Experience as either a Service Provider or as a Client-side representative
– Experience harnessing the strengths of an entrepreneurial team around a central mission
– Previous experience as a SME on regulatory requirements in multiple jurisdictions
– Experience driving network relationships on our sector
– Previous experience identifying and operating in unique industry-specific positions
– Strong sales management experience, with evidence that you can deliver sales operational excellence
– Experience galvanizing a team, leading them to greater individual and collective success
– Developing others through coaching and personal development plans
– Telecommunications experience, understanding our proposition and products
– Inherently understanding Product, Price, Place & Promotion
