Job Description

Our client is currently looking for an experienced, full-time Compliance Administrator to join our busy compliance team for a 12 month contract. As Compliance Administrator, you will be supporting the compliance team to ensure that the company is meeting its legal obligations, complying with regulatory rules and best practice.

Role Requirement:
– Assist in the administration of the Firm’s customer due diligence procedures and records
– Analyse the quality and quantity of customer due diligence
– Issue client closure forms to the business & logging on the register
– Issue Schedule K’s and record in the appropriate folders
– Update and record data with new and updated Schedule K’s
– Complete the client closure process
– Download documents for CAF/Schedule K reviews
– Performing initial review of CAF/CAFADD and schedules to check all documentation/information has been received
– Complete the CAF process
– Update and record information once work has been completed/reviewed/issued
– Log and reviewing Anti-Money Laundering (AML) A&C risk assessments and associated documents for completeness
– Performing monthly sanctions checks
– Following up with the various stakeholders on requests for outstanding documents and/or information
– Scanning and archiving compliance documents

Qualifications Required:
– 5 GCSEs, with English and Maths at grade C or higher
– Evidence of further / higher education undertaken is desirable but not essential
– Compliance-based exams commenced / completed to date is desirable not essential

Previous experience:
– 2-5 years, preferably in a compliance role

Skills Required:
– Good working knowledge of Microsoft applications (Word, Excel).
– Excellent verbal and written communications
– Sceptical mindset
– Good project management experience
– Willingness to learn and to work as part of a team
