Job Description
Our client is seeking for a qualified accountant or individual qualified by experience to join their accounting department.
Role Responsibilities
– Work within a team to manage a client portfolio
– Preparation of Financial Statements for Small businesses in accordance with FRS 102 Section 1A
– Preparation of self-employed accounts
– Preparation of Isle of Man Company and Personal Tax returns
– Dealing with enquiries from Tax Authorities
– Constructively challenge systems and procedures, proposing solutions to improve efficiency and enhance client experience.
Skills & Experience Required
– ACCA or ACA qualified or qualified by experience, part qualified also considered
– 3+ years accounting experience
– Experience with owner-managed businesses
– Experience managing multiple client relationships
– Understanding of Isle of Man Tax legislation and systems
– Understanding of UK tax legislation and systems is preferred but not essential
– Experience with CCH and QuickBooks Online is preferred but not essential
