Phil Hicks, Director

As a qualified and experienced recruitment professional Phil Hicks has worked in finance recruitment on the island for over 11 years. He has gained both the Certificate in Recruitment Practice with the Recruitment and Employment Confederation (REC) and the Certificate in Personnel Practice from the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD). Phil specialises in the placement of Temporary, Contract and Permanent staff within Finance, E-gaming and associated businesses playing a bridging role between the Isle of Man and Liverpool offices.

Pam Jones, Director

A seasoned entrepreneur, Isle of Man-based Pam’s involvement initially with the Isle of Man came through her haulage and distribution business ICD which she formed in 1988 and eventually sold to Trade Distribution (a division of Heron and Brearley) in 2007. Pam has the ability to recognise talent and as a result established EPL in the UK as one of the leaders in the provision of staff for the commercial and logistics sector. It is this business acumen that has helped EPL continued to report significant year-on-year growth.

Karann Davies, Senior Consultant

Karann has been involved with recruitment for over 6 years. Throughout this time she has continued to develop her career within the industry and is more passionate about recruitment than ever before.  She has extensive experience in placing candidates within temporary / contract business opportunities, offering a bespoke service of recruitment at all levels of the market. She understands how changeable recruitment is and how invaluable providing a quality and efficient service is to both candidates and clients.

Helen joined EPL in 2009 and currently works in conjunction with both the Isle of Man & Liverpool offices dealing with all aspects of Accounts Administration including payroll and Business Support consultants within the Isle of Man & Liverpool offices. 

Brad Richardson, UK Operational Director

With over 16 years industry experience Brad’s career within the recruitment business was built on solid foundations with local and national recruitment agencies in the North West at both consultant and managerial level. As a result Brad decided to set up Extra Personnel Logistics Ltd (EPL) in 2005 along with fellow Director Pam Jones. With an ever growing client base including an additional industry focus on professional training courses Brad continues to expand the business across the UK looking to open new offices over the coming years.

Charlie Decker, Branch Manager

Having moved into recruitment over 10 years ago Charlie acts as Branch Manager of the successful EPL Liverpool operation. Having previously worked in both the Leisure and Transport Industries his experience of dealing with local, private and national client groups is second to none. Charlie is an integral part and provider of Driver CPC training and has been the key driver in the construction and development of their top quality Drivers CPC JAUPT approved courses. He holds CPC qualifications in National Road Haulage and Passenger Transport operations. As a qualified teacher, Charlie acts as Senior Lecturer managing all quality aspects and the delivery of EPL's driver training courses.
